Jack's story
It all started with my fur baby named Jack.
Hi! My name is Christina. Also known as “the crazy dog lady” or “dog nerd.” I was inspired to develop all-natural, nutrient dense dog treats after Jack, my emotional support service animal for my PTSD, was diagnosed with cancer.
He lost his ability to walk and became paralyzed. Finding out that there was a tumor in his C2 compressing his spine. I was told there was no chance to a very slim chance of him ever walking again if he had surgery. The oncologist and surgeon mentioned that if I decided for him to get the surgery, they would not be able to remove the whole tumor and there could be a chance of his neck collapsing during the surgery. The other factor they told me was he wouldn’t even live 6 months after the surgery. Talking with my family and doing my own research, I went through the surgery.
Not only did he start walking a month after surgery, he lived 2 years longer than Dr.'s expected! During this process, I took matters into my own hands, educating myself on dog nutrition, and their overall health. After years of Jack taking care of me, it was time for me to help take care of him. That is when I changed his food to human grade food and his treats to organ meats. It is full of many nutrients that our fur babies need. I strongly advocate that this is the key to not only walking again but swimming, playing catch, going on hikes again and living 2 years longer.
I believe that pets are a true blessing, and it brings me so much joy to help them not only survive, but thrive! I am proud to bring these wholesome goodies to your amazing fur babies!
